Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked sponsored in the page markup, styled distinctly from editorial links, and accompanied by a visible disclosure near any call-to-action.
Commissions never affect ratings, rankings, pros/cons, or verdicts. Ratings are recorded before affiliate links are added to a page.
What we never do
- No sponsored reviews or paid placements — a provider cannot buy a position in our rankings
- No undisclosed affiliate links
- No fabricated urgency: no countdown timers, fake stock counts, or invented "deals"
- No invented figures: numbers appear only when we measured them or the provider publishes them
Advertising
Display ads (clearly labelled "Advertisement") are served in reserved slots and kept visually separate from editorial content and affiliate CTAs. Ad networks have no input into what we write.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix the page, bump its updated date, and — for material errors — note the correction in place. Report errors via the contact route on our About page.
Provider disputes
Providers are welcome to flag factual errors, and we correct them like any other. Requests to soften verdicts, remove cons, or raise scores are declined.
Use of AI assistance
Drafting and maintenance on this site are AI-assisted, under a policy that prohibits invented claims: every factual statement must trace to our own testing or the provider's published material, and pages are human-reviewed before publication. The no-fabrication rule applies to machines exactly as it does to people.
